Change is Constant

We have been blessed to see another year and we are here with gratitude and remembrance. This year, we are making a change and taking our annual Ancestor Celebration on the road with a trip to the Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. The trip is June 26, 2022. We will be meeting at 8:00 am, with the van leaving promptly at 9:00am. Our meetup spot is Afrikan Djeli located at 801 Lee St, Atlanta, GA 30310.

The fee is $50 per adult and $30 per child, which includes the transportation, fuel, refreshments/snacks and museum entry. A $25 deposit is required to secure your seat and can be made via Paypal to: obasi.originals@gmail.com.

All attendees will be required to sign a waiver.

We will have discussion around Ancestor veneration, lineage, family story swap and other activities on the ride to and from the museum. We hope you join us to visit this powerful place of memory and legacy. We are looking forward to a very educational and healing day.

  1. I will be tuning in high spirits spending the day honoring, remembering, calling and giving to all those before me who continues to lift me to high places. I AM because of them.
