Who We Are

Who We Are: "We are a collaboration of families of African Traditional practitioners coming together to venerate our Ancestors for the perpetual healing of our communities."

About our favicon: Fawohodie, an adinkra symbol meaning the "symbol of independence, freedom, emancipation". From the expression: Fawodhodie ene obre na enam. Literal translation:

Another Year -- Blessing Full

We have reached another year, another opportunity to give great honor and appreciation to those who have come before us. Honor and appreciation for the sacrifices, for the courage, for the wisdom, for the sticking to it.

We are not possible without this power that came before. The circle of life continues. We continue. And we continue in loyalty and honorable behavior.

We have seen the Truth that the past year has shown us. We have seen, as Ifà predicted last year, the revelation of half-animal, half-human. We are not deterred. We are not afraid.

Join us, again, in Celebration and Healing. We will be live on FaceBook with a limited gathering at Afrikan Djeli.

RSVP your attendance in person to fundraising@ancestralpower.org.

See you soon, see you there, see you safe.

  1. I am looking forward to another year of celebrating Ancestors with this important theme of going back to get what was valid, authentic and powerful in order to fuel us ever forward.
