About our favicon: Fawohodie, an adinkra symbol meaning the "symbol of independence, freedom, emancipation". From the expression: Fawodhodie ene obre na enam. Literal translation:
"Independence comes with its responsibilities."

Winter Clothing Drive 2018 Is NOW

ANNOUNCEMENT

WHAT: Not Forgotten Winter Clothes Drive 2018
As a Keepers of the Way, Inc (KOW) Community Outreach program, we are organizing a clothing drive to gather winter clothing and personal items to package and distribute to those not forgotten – the homeless.
We are asking for winter items such as:
blankets, socks, sweatshirts, skullies, long sleeve shirts
And personal items such as:
toothbrush and toothpaste, hand sanitizer, maxi pads

WHO: KOW, Contact person: Omilade Adediran
WHEN: See the following schedule of events:
Dec 1st to 31st – month of drive, set up drive boxes at locations
December 30th/31st – pick up boxes from locations
Jan 1st to 6th – package assembly
mid to late Jan – distribute packages to homeless
