Who We Are: "We are a collaboration of families of African Traditional practitioners coming together to venerate our Ancestors for the perpetual healing of our communities."About our favicon: Fawohodie, an adinkra symbol meaning the "symbol of independence, freedom, emancipation". From the expression: Fawodhodie ene obre na enam. Literal translation: "Independence comes with its responsibilities."

Celebration 2015

In an instant, another year has passed. We, again, gather the energy to call our collective spirits so that we can host this great event. Repeatedly throughout the year, we have been reminded that our true power and grace resides in our reconnection with our ancestors. Our ability to understand the collective needs of the community, to understand ourselves and to seek/reinforce unity with each other and with Mother Earth all exist within the wisdom of our ancestors.

We will meet at Perkersen Park in Atlanta on June 26th. Be there by 11:00 a.m. and connect with all of the goodness, calm and forward revelations that our ancestors have in store for us.
